The 2020 Michael Pozzan Sauvignon Blanc is explosively aromatic, with aromas of white peach, guava, and passionfruit. In the mouth, the wine shows ample flavors of grapefruit, mandarin oranges, and guava, intertwined with a bright and balanced acidity that makes the aromatics sing even in the mouth.
This rosé is comprised of Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes. With a pale pink hue, the wine has hints of rose, wild berries and spices refreshed by whispers of maritime pine. The sweet grapes are manually harvested mid-September until the beginning of October in the Morainal Hills south of Lake Garda. In the mouth the balance is pleasing between sweet fruit and the salty hint. The freshness perfectly balances the roundness of the body and gives great drinkability.
A micro-production limited to only 500 cases, Reverent is created from select vineyards in Oakville, Napa and Lodi. “The 2017 Reverent Cabernet Sauvignon shows bright aromas of cranberry, cherry, and plum with milk chocolate. On the mouth there are layers of roasted coffee, dark cherry, and malted chocolate that lends itself to a solid oak structure, with clove, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla bean. The finish is lengthy but balanced by its acidity.”
